  • Congratulations to local company Whackpack Furniture who were featured on The Late Late Toy Show last night. (02/12/16)
  • Congrats to Monaghan based design company PH7 Design & Monaghan County Museum on winning two National Awards for 1916 Exhibition.
  •  Congratulations to Mullaghmore Equestrian Saddlery received the National Adventure Provider Award and the Best Overall Winner 2016 in the Cara National Inclusion Awards ceremony.



  • The Cadburys chocolate truck will be in Monaghan Town this Sunday 4th December infront of Monaghan Courthouse from 2-4pm with some free chocolate.
  • Santa is coming to Lough Mucnko in Castleblayney Sunday 4th December there will be train rides, a carousel and a 40 FT Snowman.
  • On Monday 5th December Monaghan County Museum will host ‘Remembering Sir Jack Leslie at 100’ an event which will commemorate the life of one of Monaghans biggest characters.
  • Brian Kennedy plays the Iontas Theatre on Saturday 10th December.
  • The Monaghan Gospel Choir are performing in The Hillgrove Hotel on Wednesday 14th December.
  • International chart topper Cascada will be playing in Castleblayney in Club Twenty-Five on Wednesday 21st December.
  • A fundraising gig in aid of The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust featuring Fields
    Low Light Gathering, Sunset Ships, The Saucehounds, Dysania, The Lads will take place in Mc Kenna’s Bar, Monaghan Town on 26th December.
