Monaghan – Dublin Bus Route Could Be Halved

Bus √Čireann says they’re reviewing a number of services on its R177 Monaghan to Dublin city and airport route.

If these proposals are introduced, the six times daily service will be halved, while the option of passengers having to wait for a connecting bus from Drogheda to complete their journey is also being considered.

This would cause lots of disruption to local people and local councillor Sean Conlan says our TDs must ensure these changes are not implemented.

Monaghan County Council have requested a meeting with Martin Nolan, CEO of Bus Eireann.
